Nisga’a Ts’amiks Vancouver Society Economic Development program is designed to assist individual Ts’amiks members in pursuing initiatives that will be of economic benefit. The Economic Development Officer offers assistance and advice to individuals wishing to develop business plans. The Economic Development Officer is responsible for identifying economic development opportunities that may be available to the Ts’amiks members and which will have economic, social or employment benefits for the membership.
The Mission of the Nisga’a Ts’amiks Vancouver Society is to create a community that enhances the social, economic, physical, cultural, and spiritual wellbeing of the Nisga’a Citizens who reside within southern British Columbia. To assist in achieving part of this Mission, the Board implemented a Nisga’a Business Fund in the 2021 Fiscal Year.
